Hyderabad: YSRCP ex-MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu has been booked by the police for allegedly trying to usurp 10 acres of prime govt land in Narsingi by manufacturing five fake govt orders (GO). Police officials on Friday arrested three of the accused and are hunting for four more, including the former MLA.Nimmala Rajesh Goud, Nimmala Venugopal and Nimmala Sai Kiran were arrested on a complaint given by local tahsildar. According to the complaint, the fake GOs declaring that the state govt had regularised the 10 acres of land in Gandipet in favour of the Nimmala family were being circulated on WhatsApp. Officials said their investigation confirmed that the GOs were fake. “The family members had initially approached the Telangana high court against the state revenue department claiming ownership over the land,” a police officer told TOI. “But the high court dismissed their claim in Oct 2025. The accused then allegedly entered into a criminal conspiracy with Brahma Naidu and his relative Bolla Ramesh to sell the land at Rs 3.5 crore per acre by falsely representing themselves as absolute owners with valid legal rights over the land.” Brahma Naidu had represented the Vinukonda assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh between 2019 and 2024.The Nimmalas allegedly received Rs 4 crore as an advance for signing MoUs with Brahma Naidu. The conspiracy was allegedly mediated by the now missing accused, Sunil, Radhakrishna, and others.“Brahma Naidu claimed he would make sure the land was regularised with the help of Radhakrishna who was an additional collector in Suryapet. But Radhakrishna turned out to be a civil contractor. They created fake GOs showing the land had been regularised and signed MOUs with the family, who have no legal right over the land,” deputy commissioner of police Ch Srinivas said.On Thursday police conducted searches at the residence of Nimmala family in Narsingi and found that they had signed the MOU on the basis of five GO, all fake.
