Jhunjhunu: A 40-year-old farmer of Taranagar in Churu, drowned in a canal after accidentally falling into it Sunday morning. The deceased, identified as Sampatram Meghwal, was working in his fields and went to a nearby canal to draw water for drinking, when he slipped and fell. Police team and locals took out the body. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
