New Delhi: Two men allegedly robbed a woman of gold and silver jewellery and cash worth about Rs 8 lakh after entering her house in east Delhi‘s Trilokpuri on Thursday morning, police said.According to police, the incident occurred around 11 am when the main gate of the house was left open and the woman was alone inside. The two accused allegedly entered the premises, overpowered her and tied her to a bed.Police said the men snatched the keys of an almirah from the woman’s purse, opened the locker and fled with jewellery and cash.Family members and neighbours reached the house shortly afterwards, untied the woman and alerted the police.A PCR call regarding the incident was received at the Mayur Vihar police station at 11.17 am.The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken for a medical examination, police said.An FIR has been registered at the Mayur Vihar police station.
