Palanpur: Patan City A Division police arrested a woman with 78.3g of mephedrone, worth Rs 2.34 lakh, during a raid in the Nishal Ni Pol neighbourhood of the town.The raid was conducted based on specific intelligence that Irfan Ali alias Dhoni Saiyed and his wife Firozabanu were selling narcotic substances.During a search of the house, police found a transparent zip-lock bag with a light yellowish substance in a steel container. FSL officer, H R Patel, was called to the spot and confirmed it was mephedrone.Firozabanu told police that Haresh Prajapati, along with two unidentified men, had supplied the drugs to her two or three days ago for sale.Police detained Firozabanu Saiyed, while efforts are on to trace her husband, Prajapati and the two unidentified persons.
