Will send back Andhra leader statues to AP if TRS comes to power: Kavitha

Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha demanded the state govt to install the Telangana idealogue Prof Jayashankar statue on tankbund before August 6, his birthday. She said even after 12 years of formation of Telangana state, Jayashankar’s statue was not installed in Hyderabad, who fought for Telangana till end.Alleging that Andhra leaders’ statues are erected in Hyderabad even now, she said, if TRS comes to power, it would send back Andhra leader statues to AP. She questioned whether AP would install statues of Telangana leaders in Andhra, just as they are installing statues of Andhra leaders in Telangana. Kavitha demanded the installation of statues of PV, Professor Jayashankar, and other Telangana martyrs.Speaking at a round table meeting on “Aspirations of Activists – Achievement” at the Telangana Rakshana Sena office in Banjara Hills on Monday, Kavitha said that despite the Telugu states got divided , the people remain united without any differences. However, she criticized that political leaders are trying to dominate by attacking the identity of Telangana. She asserted that only the TRS can protect Telangana’s identity.She accused that with an Andhra political agent as Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, conspiracies have begun again in this region. Kavitha criticized that Andhra leaders are engaging in diversion politics because they have failed to build a capital even after 12 years of state formation. She warned that they would not remain silent if their culture is imposed while attacking their identity. She stated that Telangana would not remain silent if there is an attack on Telangana mother. She reminded that those who have challenged them in the past have not prospered and warned that if challenged again, they will face consequences. She warned that they will show what TRS 2.0 looks like.Kavitha countered Pawan Kalyan, who announced holding a massive public meeting in Telangana, and Lokesh, who announced expanding in Telangana. She asked whether TDP, Jana Sena, and YSRCP leaders ever said that they would share water equally instead of stealing it.
