Chennai: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has signed an MoU with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV). This collaboration is designed to foster continuing education, VIT said in a statement. Through this MoU, VIT will offer B.Tech (Manufacturing Engineering) for TMPV employees of Tata Motors, Ranipet plant from the academic year 2026-27. The MoU was signed at Pune recently. The MoU exchange was formalised by VIT’s chancellor G Viswanathan and Sitaram Kandi, chief human resources officer, Tata Motors, it added.
