Varanasi: Devotees visiting Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and taking a dip in the Ganga will no longer need to worry about their belongings, with the UP govt set to install digital luggage lockers. A digital payment facility will also be available.Officials said people wanting a glimpse of Digital India should visit Kashi, where digital luggage lockers are now available.Municipal Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal said, “To enhance convenience for visitors, digital luggage lockers are proposed near Dashashwamedh Ghat at Dashashwamedh Plaza, Godowlia, Town Hall, and Beniabagh parking.”He added that 225 lockers will be available in four sizes — small, medium, large, and extra-large. They can store items ranging from mobile phones and small bags to larger luggage, with the biggest lockers holding up to two suitcases.
