Lucknow: The UP BJP will formally roll out its campaign calendar of major public outreach and organisational campaigns in the run-up to the 2027 Assembly elections during a high-level strategy meeting scheduled in Lucknow on July 11.Sources said the party will focus on booth management, strengthening grassroots network, countering opposition narratives and improving coordination between Yogi govt and the organisational command. The meeting to be chaired by UP BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary will be the first formal interaction of the newly appointed state unit’s office-bearers after the recent organisational restructuring. Sources said the meeting would mark the beginning of BJP’s structured election cycle to take on the opposition, primarily the Samajwadi Party and its ally Congress, ahead of 2027 polls.Senior office-bearers, regional presidents, heads of various morchas and key organisational functionaries are expected to attend the meeting, which comes close to the recent visit of BJP national president Nitin Nabin to the state capital.Sources said the state leadership is expected to spell out its mass contact programmes, public awareness campaigns and organisational activities that will be carried out across the state over the next several months. The campaigns will focus on highlighting the achievements of the central and UP govts while expanding the party’s outreach among different social and caste groups. UP BJP brass is likely to review the organisational preparedness in all regions and assign responsibilities to the newly appointed office-bearers.Sources said that discussions may cover strategies for increasing public participation in the party’s campaigns, expanding membership activities wherever required, and intensifying outreach through social, professional and youth groups.Experts said BJP now seeks to shift its focus from internal restructuring to electoral mobilisation. Apart from finalising the campaign schedule, the leadership may issue guidelines regarding coordination among the organisational wings, monitoring of campaign implementation and regular feedback from districts to ensure that the party’s programmes are executed uniformly across the state.
