Ahmedabad: Two RTO inspectors helped save the life of a seriously injured accident victim on the Limbdi-Ahmedabad Highway near Katariya village by ensuring he received medical attention during the crucial golden hour.RTO inspectors N D Upadhyay and S B Vaghasia were on duty when they came across the victim, who had suffered severe injuries, including a head injury, in a road accident on Thursday night.The inspectors provided first aid and began helping the injured man. They called for an ambulance but instead of waiting at the accident spot for the van to arrive, they put the victim in their official car and moved towards the direction from which the ambulance was approaching to cut down the response time.The inspectors soon spotted the ambulance and helped safely transfer the victim to the medical team. He was then taken to a hospital for further treatment.
