Gurgaon: Two men were killed and a woman was injured in three separate road accidents in the city in the past two days.In the first incident, a 24-year-old man was killed after a speeding truck ran over the motorcycle he was travelling on near Binola flyover culvert in Bilaspur on Wednesday.Rahul, a resident of Rathivas village, worked with Shashi as a DJ. According to a complaint by Rahul’s father, their console broke down that day and the two had gone out to buy spare parts.At Binola flyover culvert, a truck approaching from Pachgaon Chowk at high speed rammed their bike. The truck’s rear tyre ran over the motorcycle. Shashi fell to the side and escaped injury but Rahul, who was riding pillion, was crushed and died at the spot.Police registered a case under sections 106 (causing death due to negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of BNS and started the investigation.In Sultanpur, Ajay Arjun (27) died after an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle on Wednesday night. His family was informed about the accident by SGT Hospital, where he was taken after the accident. When they reached the hospital, they were told he succumbed to his injuries.In the third incident, Amita Singh (27) suffered serious injuries after an e-rickshaw and a Honda City hit her on the service road in front of Sahara Mall on Thursday afternoon.Amita, who works at a Croma store in Sector 29, was travelling from Nathupur to her workplace at around 1pm.According to the complaint filed by her uncle, Rampal, an e-rickshaw approaching from the side of JMD Mall and being driven negligently hit her first, causing her to fall and sustain injuries. The Honda City, coming from the direction of MG Road metro station, hit her when she was already on the ground.A police team in Sahara Mall area helped move Amita from the spot and took her to Fortis Hospital, Sector 44. Her medical report recorded five injuries and classified the injuries as grievous.A case has been registered in the matter.
