Kolkata: Bengal health minister Sharadwat Mukherjee said on Tuesday that the state will implement the norms brought by Centre on over the counter sale of cough syrup. The state will soon issue a directive, he said, so that cough syrups are not sold without prescription. Mukherjee added that over the counter sale also aids addiction and smuggling.
