New Delhi: Three incidents of knife assaults leading to injuries were reported from different parts of the city.In the first case, a youth was allegedly stabbed by two minors in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri on Saturday. Both boys have been apprehended.The injured man has been identified as Love. According to police, information regarding the admission of Love with stabbing injuries was reported from a hospital.“Through technical analysis and local intelligence, the team successfully traced and apprehended both juvenile offenders,” said a senior police officer, adding that the knife used in the commission of the offence has also been seized.In another instance, a man has been apprehended in connection with the robbery of a mobile phone from a specially abled, mute and deaf person in Jahangirpuri.A video of the incident had earlier gone viral on social media. Police said an eyewitness, who had intervened to save the victim, also suffered a minor knife injury in the altercation.The accused, identified as Firoj Alam, was apprehended. He also has previous involvement in cases of robbery and the Arms Act, police said.In a separate case, a 26-year-old man was discovered critically injured with stab injuries near Mother Dairy Flyover towards Laxmi Nagar metro red light in east Delhi on Sunday.The injured man has been identified as Mohit Tiwari, a resident of east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar.According to police, a PCR call was received at Shakarpur police station regarding an injured person admitted to a hospital in Preet Vihar. Upon reaching the hospital, the caller, a passerby, told cops that he found the man injured near the flyover and rushed him for treatment.Police said that medical examination revealed four incised wounds on his body. A case has been registered and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused persons, police added.
