Pune: Three minors allegedly hacked a 21-year-old man to death at Vadhu Kurd in Haveli Taluka on Wednesday night.Lonikand police detained the three minors and identified the deceased as Vikas Kumar Shrivastav, a resident of Koregaon Bhima in Shirur taluka.An officer from Lonikand police said the victim’s body was found near an under-construction building in Vadhu Khurd. During the investigation, the police found that Shrivastav had a heated argument with a group of youngsters about five days earlier. “We traced the accused and took them into custody for questioning. During questioning, they admitted to murdering Shrivastav.”The trio had quarrelled with the victim over a trivial issue. “On Wednesday night, they attacked him with sharp weapons and killed him. All three accused are aged 17. We have sent them to a correctional home,” the officer said.
