Ahmedabad: Posing as workers from a cleaning agency, three men polished off gold jewellery worth Rs 3.8 lakh from 69-year-old’s house in Anandanagar. However, police scrubbed out their escape plans and arrested them on Saturday.Following a surveillance operation in Vastrapur based on a tip-off, a police team tracked and detained the trio. Cops successfully recovered Rs 3.3 lakh of the stolen valuables, which included two gold chains with pendants and a gold-capped rudraksha bracelet.A case has been registered against the suspects at the Anandnagar police station.
