Gorakhpur: Chairman of Tata Sons, N Chandrasekaran, appreciated the fact that people from across the country were benefiting from the state-of-the-art Panchakarma centre at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG), during his visit to the campus for the Viksit Bharat–Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047 programme on Wednesday.Accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Chandrasekaran toured the Ayurvedic college’s Panchakarma facility and closely reviewed its infrastructure and treatment systems. He described the centre as “world-class” and credited the vision of the chief minister, who is also the university’s chancellor, for establishing such advanced healthcare infrastructure in eastern UP. The development, he noted, reflects the region’s growing prominence in holistic healthcare. Chandrasekaran also offered prayers at the temple located on the university premises.At the event, Yogi and Chandrasekaran felicitated winners of various hackathons at MGUC. Akash Yadav secured first prize of Rs 25,000, followed by Manali (Rs 15,000) and Abhayanath Singh (Rs 10,000), while Om Pandey, Ansh Gupta, Gaurav Chaurasia and Soumya Dubey received consolation prizes.In the cyber security hackathon, Som Singh bagged the top prize, followed by Satyam Singh and Utkrisht Srivastava. Several participants, including Aaradhya Singh, Dharmveer Bharti, Romendra Uttam, Rishi Diwakar and Gaurav Chaurasia, were awarded consolation prizes.Participants contributing to the AI for All Awareness Programme, which earned recognition from Guinness World Records, were also honoured. Certificates were distributed to farmers associated with the AI for Farmers training initiative.
