CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee will begin accepting online applications for MBBS and BDS admissions at noon on Monday, offering students across the state their first formal step toward a medical/dental seat — even before national entrance results are out.The application portal, tnmedicalselection.org, will go live at noon, officials said. The window will stay open for at least a week after NEET results are officially declared, giving students time to update their scores. The timing is deliberate. By decoupling registration from results, the state aims to reduce the last-minute scramble.Students now have time to gather and verify documents such as community and nativity certificates, and official said.State selection committee conducts admissions for 85% of seats in govt medical colleges, all seats in self-financing and state private universities.
