One widely shared meme recreated a scene from the Tamil film Friends. In the original, Contractor Nesamani, played by Vadivelu, instructs his team to behave properly before entering a palace.In the meme version, the “palace” becomes the Secretariat, and Sengottaiyan, portrayed as Nesamani, warns his “crew” of TVK party leaders to act responsibly. The humorous twist imagines first-time entrants preparing for power.Another viral trend featured a clip of M K Stalin’s hand gesture where he tells media personnel the event is over, which was later used as a sign to troll TVK in the assembly election, saying their political career is over.Meme creators have edited it to suggest a political shift, with one version showing V S Babu, the TVK candidate who defeated Stalin in Kolathur, mimicking the same gesture.Similarly, scenes from films like Sarkar, Mudhalvan, Master, Mersal and Gilli have been repurposed to celebrate the party’s stunning rise in Tamil Nadu’s political horizon.
