Hyderabad: US-based financial services player Synchrony has opened its largest global experience centre and innovation station at its Hyderabad campus, underscoring India’s growing role in the company’s technology and enterprise strategy.The nearly 6,000-square-foot facility is Synchrony’s third experience centre globally, after two in the United States.The facility is designed as an immersive hub where employees, customers and partners can explore the company’s products, technologies and business capabilities through interactive customer journeys, virtual reality demonstrations and real-world use cases across health and wellness, home and auto, lifestyle, digital and diversified value platforms, Synchrony said on Thursday.The adjoining innovation station will enable employees to work with emerging technologies, develop prototypes, test ideas and take part in innovation challenges and hackathons. Synchrony said the combined spaces are intended to support collaboration, continuous learning and cross-functional innovation.Florin Arghirescu, executive vice president and chief technology officer, said the investment reflects confidence in India’s talent and its contributions in technology, AI and enterprise platforms.Rachana Bahadur, senior vice president and country head for India, said the centre was designed for more than 6,000 colleagues and would help teams connect their work with customer impact.
