Ahmedabad: Tufts of clouds remained scattered in the city sky on Sunday. With good cloud cover absent, the temperature touched 33.9 degrees celsius, which was 1.3 degrees above normal. At 26.8 degrees, the minimum temperature was 1.7 degrees above the normal mark. Relative humidity remained between 50 and 70% through the day. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city as well as different parts of the state may experience cloudy weather on Monday. There are chances of sporadic light showers. A well-marked low-pressure area persisted near Odisha along with an upper-air cyclonic circulation over Saurashtra, according to an IMD bulletin. The city has so far received 75% of its seasonal rainfall.
