Rajkot: Gandhigram police have registered an FIR against six persons, including Sajid Kachrawala, for allegedly vandalising a medical store on Raiya Road and causing property damage estimated at Rs 3.25 lakh.According to the complaint filed on Monday by store owner Pranav Undadkat, the incident occurred at Dev Pushp Medical around 9.30 pm on Sunday.The complainant alleged that Kachrawala and five others entered the store and damaged 13 computers, five CCTV cameras, a printer and a television, causing an estimated loss of Rs 3.25 lakh.The accused allegedly abused and threatened the complainant and his staff and warned them against informing the police. They also attempted to damage the shop’s shutter before leaving the premises while continuing to issue threats.According to the FIR, the incident stemmed from a misunderstanding over the store’s counters. Kachrawala was standing near a closed counter with an unidentified woman. When a staff member asked the woman to move to an operational counter to collect her medicine, Kachrawala reportedly objected.The situation escalated when Kachrawala confronted a staff member, identified as Rajesh, and questioned why they had been asked to move. Following a heated argument, Kachrawala threatened to return within 10 minutes and said that he would shut down the pharmacy.Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Section 135 of the Gujarat Police Act.
