CHENNAI: Peravallur police registered a case against a brother and sister for creating a disturbance at a TASMAC bar in Kolathur and attempting to attack an employee with a broken beer bottle.Ramki, 39, of GKM Colony, had been working at the bar for 15 years. Police said Divakar and his sister Bhavya, residents of the same locality, entered the bar and verbally abused customers.During the incident, Bhavya took a beer bottle from a customer, broke it and attempted to stab Ramki with the broken bottle. The commotion caused customers to flee the premises.A video of the incident circulated viral on social media.Based on a complaint from Ramki, Peravallur police registered a case against Divakar and Bhavya under four sections of law, including provisions relating to obscene language, causing hurt and criminal intimidation.
