Raut suggested that minister Lodha should name the Trump Tower he built in the city after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.Sena UBT MLA Ajay Choudhari and BMC leader of opposition Kishori Pednekar, in a memorandum to the KEM dean, protested the civic body’s decision to rechristen the KEM Hospital as Kaushalyashreshta Eklavya Memorial Hospital.Choudhari asked, “What connection the name has with the hospital and who Lodha was to suggest a name change.” Choudhari said the hospital has immense historical significance, it served as the alma mater to world-class physicians and that across the globe, this institution is universally recognised simply as ‘KEM Hospital, Parel.’Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Milind Narvekar, separately, urged CM Devendra Fadnavis to intervene in the name change controversy. “Will all historical monuments’ names be changed?
