Mumbai: NCP supremo Sharad Pawar (85), who was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday, is stable, said his treating physician Dr Pratit Samdani on Friday. “He is recuperating well and responding well to treatment. Any decision on discharge will be taken in due course of time,” he added. Earlier, deputy CM Eknath Shinde told reporters after calling on Pawar that he could be discharged on Saturday. “I came to enquire about his health. We had a very good conversation. He is in good health. Doctors told us that his health parameters are normal and there is nothing to worry about,” he said.
