Chennai: Electric mobility platform RIDEV has opened its 16th hub in Chennai. The company provides electric two-wheelers on rent to delivery and gig workers, along with battery swapping, maintenance, roadside assistance, insurance and standby EVs at no additional cost.RIDEV’s hub-based model aims to reduce vehicle downtime and eliminate the upfront investment and maintenance burden of owning an EV, helping riders keep earning.“Our responsibility goes beyond putting an EV on the road to ensuring riders can continue earning without being held back by ownership costs, repairs or downtime,” said Manish Kumar Jain, founder and CEO, RIDEV.Founded in April 2024 with just 10 electric two-wheelers, RIDEV has scaled to more than 12,000 electric two-wheelers on the road.
