Hyderabad: Calling it an “extraordinary, hard-fought and inspiring victory”, chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday congratulated the Congress-led UDF alliance in Kerala for its triumph in assembly elections.In a post on X, Revanth congratulated Congress workers and leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal and Deepa Dasmunsi.“On a personal note, I thank all supporters of the UDF and the people of Kerala who showered their heartfelt affection on me during my campaign in Kerala. I shall always be grateful and thank you on behalf of all the people of Telangana. We are two great states with people of great progressive values and democratic ethos, who believe in development and, after a decade of disappointment and betrayal, are set for a great future under the Congress govt,” said Revanth.Congress leaders and cadres celebrated the victory in Kerala by distributing sweets and bursting firecrackers at Gandhi Bhavan and other places in the state.Ministers and other senior leaders credited CM Revanth’s campaign in Kerala and his punchline “Nee po mone Vijaya”, taken from actor Mohanlal’s Malayalam movie.Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said Revanth directly questioned Kerala CM Vijayan’s policies. “Revanth accused Vijayan of indirectly supporting the BJP and made the people aware of their alleged alliance, stating Vijayan is Modi and Modi is Vijayan.”Minister D Sridhar Babu said the results of the five-state elections conveyed a clear and decisive message in the landscape of Indian politics.
