Gurgaon: A fuel station worker in Faridabad allegedly sprayed petrol at a woman with a nozzle following a dispute over payment, leaving customers startled and forcing bystanders to step in.The incident took place at a fuel station on BK-Neelam Marg in NIT. Police said the woman had arrived there to refuel her two-wheeler when an argument broke out with an employee over payment. As the exchange intensified, the staffer allegedly lifted the nozzle and sprayed petrol on her. He then moved towards her aggressively, causing panic at the pump.The confrontation was captured on CCTV cameras installed nearby, while a bystander also recorded a video on phone. In the footage, the woman is seen objecting to the employee’s conduct and warning that she would call police. The situation escalated briefly before people present at the station intervened.Police said the woman dialled 112 soon after the incident. A police team reached the spot and asked her to submit a formal complaint so legal action could be initiated against the accused.Till late on Tuesday evening, no written complaint had been filed. Police said they are aware of the video and will examine the footage once a complaint is lodged.“Appropriate action will be taken as soon as a complaint is received,” a senior police officer said.
