New Delhi: Delhi Police has busted a prostitution racket being operated as a spa in central Delhi’s Panchkuian Road and arrested a 39-year-old owner-cum-manager of the establishment. Four women have been rescued from the premises, police said.According to the cops, a tip-off was received at Paharganj police station regarding trafficking activities Tuesday. Police claimed that customers were being lured and provided sexual services in exchange for money.A raiding team was constituted and a decoy customer was briefed before being provided with pre-recorded currency notes amounting to Rs 2,000, police said. “After entering the spa, he was offered sexual services by the spa operator, who accepted the advance payment and directed one of the women present to accompany the decoy customer to a room,” said DCP (central) Rohit Rajbir Singh.The raid was conducted and the accused was nabbed. A case was registered under sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at Paharganj police station.The cops said that four women, a 40-year-old from Allahabad, a 26-year-old from Dadar Bazar, a 26-year-old from Pratapgarh and a 31-year-old from Nabi Karim, have been rescued from the spot.
