Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit South Gujarat on Friday, where he will unveil projects worth Rs 18,777 crore and also address a public rally in Surat. The PM will lay the foundation stones and inaugurate projects of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and other development projects of the state government and local bodies of south Gujarat.Among the prominent initiatives are eight projects from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), valued at Rs 1,063.43 crore. These projects aim to bolster industrial infrastructure and enhance environmental management systems in South Gujarat.He will also visit Daman, where he will launch 56 projects worth Rs 2,970 crore, including Namo Airport and Namo Hospital..The Gujarat govt has also organised several events across the state to mark completion of 12 years of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. An official statement said programmes will be held in all districts on the theme of 1service’ to mark the occasion.
