PM to address Jind rally, flag off India’s first hydrogen train

Jind: Preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed July 17 visit to Jind gathered pace on Wednesday, with Haryana BJP president Archana Gupta stating he will flag off India’s first hydrogen-powered train during the visit.Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, along with Archana Gupta, reviewed preparations at a meeting of party office-bearers at PWD rest house. They discussed organisational arrangements, assigned responsibilities to party workers and planned the three-hour-long programme schedule.CM Saini said that PM’s visit to Jind would add a new chapter to Haryana’s development journey. He stated that the PM would dedicate development projects worth thousands of crores of rupees to the people of Haryana, giving a major boost to the state’s infrastructure, transportation, and overall development.Gupta said that the flagging off of India’s first hydrogen train would be a matter of pride for Haryana and will reinforce India’s commitment to technological advancement, environmental protection, and the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). She added that every BJP worker is the party’s greatest strength and that making the Prime Minister’s public meeting successful and historic is a collective responsibility. She instructed party workers to pay special attention to transportation, parking, seating arrangements, and ensuring a large turnout at the rally.Gupta also appealed to party workers to visit every household and personally invite people to attend the Prime Minister’s public meeting. She said that under PM Modi’s leadership, Haryana continues to achieve new milestones in development. Eco-friendly rallyGupta also announced that the rally would be completely eco-friendly. Referring to PM’s appeal to conserve petrol and diesel, she urged party office bearers to encourage people to travel to the rally using e-rickshaws, electric battery-operated vehicles, CNG vehicles, bicycles, and tractor-trolleys, thereby promoting environmentally sustainable transportation.The meeting was attended by rally convener and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Bhatia, co-convener and BJP state general secretary Surender Poonia, Haryana assembly deputy speaker Krishna Middha, former BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli, organisation general secretary Phanindra Nath Sharma, Minister Ranbir Gangwa and Krishna Panwar, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala, MLAs Ram Kumar Gautam and Yogendra Rana, former ministers Captain Abhimanyu, Kamlesh Dhanda and Kamal Gupta, along with several party office bearers.
