Hyderabad: Telangana Congress working president T Jagga Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the Centre and the Uttar Pradesh govt take responsibility for the alleged theft at the Ayodhya Ram temple, and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah apologise to the people. The PM should speak at least now, demanded Jagga Reddy while addressing a media conference at Gandhi Bhavan. Referring to BJP state president N Ramchander Rao’s alleged statement terming Ayodhya ram temple donations theft case as a trivial matter, Jagga Reddy asked: “If the BJP was in opposition and the Congress in power at the Centre, the BJP would have created a nationwide massive uproar over theft in Ayodhya Ram temple. The BJP divides people based on caste and religion but the Congress tries to unite them.”The TPCC working president also sought to ask how many top BJP leaders visit the Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar daily to light a lamp.
