Dimapur: Nagaland governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Saturday said the state recorded 70,469 registered unemployed job seekers as on Feb this year.Inaugurating the Kohima Job Fair 2026 at Don Bosco College Kohima, Yadav highlighted the employment scenario in the state, underscoring the need for stronger collaboration among govt agencies, educational institutions, industries and social organisations to create sustainable pathways to employment and livelihoods.The job fair saw participation of more than 25 companies representing various sectors and over 500 job seekers.Yadav said the turnout reflected both the aspirations of Nagaland’s youth and the commitment of employers to support talent development and employment generation. He emphasised the importance of collective efforts to address employment challenges and create opportunities for the youths of the state.
