Varanasi: A 10-day online workshop based on Research Methodology in Social Sciences was inaugurated at Centre for the Study of Social Inclusion, Faculty of Social Sciences, BHU on Sunday with the aim of promoting quality and scientific research in social sciences. The workshop is being organised under the joint aegis of the Centre for the Study of Social Inclusion and the Department of Microbiology, IMS-BHU along with Vihan Samiti and Jan Kalyan Vikas Foundation Trust. More than 150 participants took part in this workshop online. The inaugural function was attended by Prof Sanjay Srivastava, vice-chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari (Bihar). Prof Anil Kumar Vishwas, HoD of Political Science, Vardhaman University, (West Bengal) presented his research ideas before the participants. Programme secretary Dasharath Kumar Sharma provided information about the subject matter of the workshop and the upcoming sessions to the participants. Centre coordinator Prof JB Kumaraiya also spoke.
