Pune: Wagholi police are searching for a man accused of robbing Rs 10,500 from a trailer truck driver at a construction site in Wagholi around 8.30am on Thursday.Vitthal Garje (31), a resident of Beed, lodged a complaint on Friday. Garje had reached the construction site in Wagholi to deliver construction material. The workers were unloading the material from the truck inside the construction site.According to the FIR, “The suspect reached the spot threatened the workers and the driver, demanding money in order to allow them to unload the material. Garje refused, following which the suspect threatened him with dire consequences. The suspect grabbed Garje and took Rs10,500 from his pocket, before fleeing.” Police have identified the suspect and are checking if the suspect is associated with any Mathadi organisation.
