Itanagar: Security forces have arrested an active NSCN (R) cadre from Khonsa area in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district, an official report said on Tuesday.The arrested insurgent has been identified as 34-year-old Jeetu Saikia, alias Tuwang Lowang, a resident of Makum Tila in Assam’s Tinsukia district. He was operating under C/o Loliam Letey Lowang.During the raid, security forces recovered a 7.62 mm MQ 9 rifle with a magazine and 21 live rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition.
