An FIR was filed against the builder and the operators of the RMC plant
Navi Mumbai: An 18-year-old worker died after losing his balance and falling into an operational ready mix concrete (RMC) plant machinery at a construction site in Panvel taluka’s Arivali village on Monday. The victim, Manishkumar Yadav, who hailed from Bihar, was allegedly not given any safety gear while being engaged for work. An FIR was filed against the builder, Krushna Kala Developers, and the operators of the RMC plant for negligent act, causing death not amounting to culpable homicide and act endangering human life or personal safety under BNS. Panvel taluka police said Yadav sustained fatal injuries to his chest and left hand and was declared brought dead at a hospital.
