No janata darshan, but CM meets, greets kids with toys, candies | Varanasi News



Gorakhpur: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath spent time with children and offered prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple during his visit on Saturday.Unlike his usual visits, no Janata Darshan programme was scheduled. While taking a walk around the temple complex, the chief minister noticed a group of children and called them over. The children eagerly gathered around him, and Yogi posed for photographs with them despite a light drizzle.He distributed chocolates and toys to the children and interacted with them. On spotting a woman standing at a distance with her child, he beckoned and gave away toys and candies, much to the delight of the little one who spent a few moments with the chief minister.Earlier in the morning, Yogi visited the temple’s gaushala, where he fed jaggery and rotis to the cows. Moving from one enclosure to another, he offered fodder, patted them and spent time caring for them.The chief minister is known for meeting people and hearing public grievances during Janata Darshan programmes, but Saturday’s visit was devoted to temple activities and interactions with devotees and children.
