Varanasi: The additional director general of police (ADGP) of Varanasi Zone, Piyush Mordia, inaugurated the newly constructed COPS Cafe at Police Lines in Ghazipur on Sunday.The ADG said that police personnel work day and night for the safety of the public, and better facilities are essential to maintain their efficiency and morale. The cafe will provide police personnel with excellent arrangements for meals, snacks, and other refreshments.SP Iraj Raja said that the new cafe has been equipped with modern amenities, ensuring cleanliness, proper seating arrangements, and quality food. He reviewed the quality of food and operations, and issued instructions for its regular functioning.This initiative has been launched with the objective of reducing work-related stress for police personnel and providing them with quality facilities at a single location. On this occasion, the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Circle Officer Lines, Circle Officer Jamania, along with other police personnel and dignitaries were present.
