Train services on the Aman Lodge–Matheran railway section will continue to operate
Mumbai: Regular passenger services on the Neral–Aman Lodge railway section will remain suspended during the monsoon season (June 15 to Oct 15, 2026), owing to safety considerations during the heavy rains.However, train services on the Aman Lodge–Matheran railway section will continue to operate during this period. The services will run between Aman Lodge and Matheran with a six-coach rake comprising three second-class coaches, one first-class coach, and two SLR/LR coaches, as per the prescribed timetable.
