Navi Mumbai: A global non-profit organisation based in Maharashtra, Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan, Revdanda, in Alibaug taluka, has donated 615 road barricades and 16 breath analyser equipment to Raigad district police.Raigad SP Anchal Dalal received the donation letter and the equipment from the NGO trustees Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari, Umesh Dharmadhikari and Rahul Dharmadhikari on Friday at the Raigad police headquarters in Alibaug. Dalal said, “Earlier, on March 27 last year, the NGO donated Rs 5 lakh for Raigad Police Welfare Fund. The 615 barricades will be useful for traffic safety and regulation in Raigad district. The 16 breath analysers will be distributed to various police stations in Raigad for checking drunk driving incidents and taking legal action that will act as a deterrent to curb drunk driving and help reduce the increasing number of fatal accidents in Raigad district due to drunk driving.”
