Narnaul: A 26-year-old man was killed after an SUV allegedly rammed his scooter near Koriawas village on Sunday. The victim, Surender Kumar, was on his way to his tyre puncture repair shop in Narnaul.Surender, a resident of Koriawas, was the sole breadwinner of his family and is survived by his wife and young son.According to police, Surender was riding towards Narnaul when a Maruti Suzuki Brezza coming from the opposite direction collided with his scooter near the medical college. The impact threw him into roadside bushes and he died on the spot.The SUV driver fled after the accident, leaving the damaged vehicle behind. Police reached the spot after being alerted by local residents and launched a search for the driver.Narnaul City SHO inspector Virender Kumar said police were examining CCTV footage from the area to trace the driver’s movements. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.Police sent Surender’s body to Narnaul civil hospital for postmortem.
