Sonipat: Police on Sunday announced the arrest of a man for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old boy at Satlok Ashram in Dhanana village, with Gohana DCP Jitendra Gehlawat saying the accused was serving as a sevadar at the ashram.Sachin, a resident of Kansadi village, was arrested on Sep 24 and later produced before a court, which sent him to judicial custody, police said.According to police, the Child Welfare Committee informed Baroda police on Sep 23 about the alleged incident. A police team took the minor and his father into protective care and the boy was subsequently taken to an institution/hospital in Khanpur Kalan for counselling and medical procedures.Police said the boy disclosed details of the alleged incident during counselling.The ashram committee disputed the police account. Committee member Om Prakash Saini said the accused had no connection with the ashram.He claimed the dispute involved two boys on a bus and that nothing happened on the ashram premises.
