Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man who got trapped between the lift and the wall of a three-storey building at Anjaneyanagar in Moosapet on Sunday was rescued by HYDRAA.According to HYDRAA, Murali and his wife had taken the lift from the ground floor and were getting off at the second floor. As Murali stepped out, another person pressed the lift button from the third floor. The lift suddenly moved upwards, trapping Murali’s leg in the grills of the old lift.A DRF team along with personnel from Sanatnagar fire station were called in. After nearly one-and-a-half hours of efforts, the rescue team managed to pull Murali out. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.Officials said Murali’s leg had been severely crushed. The rescue operation was challenging as he was trapped between the second and third floors and was hanging below the lift.
