Pune: Some assailants on Tuesday night shot dead a 35-year-old man, Ramesh Reddy, a resident of Dehu Road. The murder was the fallout of an old rivalry, police said.Around 9pm on Tuesday, Reddy was near an eatery when unknown persons opened fire at him. He was critically injured in the attack. “Reddy was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors,” an officer of Pimpri Chinchwad crime branch said. Reddy’s brother, Vikram Guruswamy Reddy (37), a resident of Gandhinagar in Dehu Road, was also shot dead on Feb 13, 2025. “Teams have been fanned to trace the assailants,” the officer said. tnn
