Jaipur: A late-night liquor party in Daulatpura area ended in gunfire after an argument between two groups of friends escalated, with one man allegedly opening fire. However, no one was injured in the incident, police said.SHO Mahendra Singh said the complainant, Rajendra Meena, a resident of Daulatpura, alleged that his friend Aryan Meena and his associates opened fire after a dispute during the party. Police said the accused are absconding and efforts were underway to trace them.The incident occurred around 1.30am Monday near Lucky Dhaba at Sabhyata Farm under Daulatpura police station limits.According to the FIR, Rajendra was consuming liquor with Aryan and others when a minor argument broke out between the two groups. The altercation soon turned violent, following which Aryan and his associates allegedly fired at him.Police said the bullet missed Rajendra and struck his car, damaging the vehicle. The firing triggered panic in the area, though no one was injured.An FIR has been registered based on the complaint. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team inspected the spot on Monday morning and collected evidence. Police are also examining CCTV footage from the area to establish the sequence of events.“Multiple teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Further investigation is underway,” police said.
