Bathinda: An accountant with a vegetable dealer was found dead with wounds from a sharp weapon in Budhlada sub-division of Mansa district on Wednesday. Locals spotted the body of Rajdeep Singh, 29, next to his scooter on the Daryapur-Kulana village road near the railway crossing in the morning. Police said the Daryapur Khurd village resident was attacked while he was on his way to Budhlada vegetable market. A murder case was registered. The victim’s mother, Jasbir Kaur said a few locals had suspected her son’s hand in the recent suicide of a youth from the village. Police said the exact reason behind the killing was not yet known, and an investigation was underway.
