Surat: A woman has alleged that her ex-husband attacked her on the second day after she remarried. According to a complaint lodged with Udhna police, the woman, who lives with her new family in Udhna, stated that she had married the accused in 2023 and had a two-year-old son from the relationship. Differences soon arose between them, and they separated.On Oct 23, the woman married Mahesh Devipujak. On the second day, when she was going to meet her sister-in-law, her former husband Sachin came up from behind her and struck her with a bladed weapon, causing injuries to various parts of her body. The woman approached police, who recorded her complaint and began an investigation after booking the accused for attempted murder.
