Lucknow: Lucknow University on Wednesday hosted its first-ever Formula One (F1) car exhibition, giving students a rare opportunity to see the racing machine up close.Students gathered around the car, with several wearing Red Bull Racing caps and carrying posters of F1 drivers Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar. Some even climbed rooftops to catch a glimpse of the display.“We have watched these cars race at incredible speeds on screen, but seeing one in person at our university feels completely different. I follow Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen closely, so this was something I did not want to miss,” said F1 enthusiast Rahul Singh.The display also attracted students who were unfamiliar with the sport. Many gathered around the car, asking questions about its design, speed, engine, tyres and performance on the race track.Another F1 fan, Rishabh Singh, said the event brought together students who usually follow the sport online and gave them an opportunity to discuss their shared interest in person.Eureka founder Tanishq said, “The idea was to bring experiences that students usually see on screens to the university campus and create a platform for them to engage with them together.”The event also featured dance performances, a fashion show, an open DJ session and other activities.
