Jhunjhunu: Haryana-based gangster Sachin Bhiwani, a key associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gang, was brought to Jhunjhunu on a production warrant and sent to judicial custody after four days of interrogation, police said Saturday.Bhiwani, considered a shooter for the gang, was interrogated under tight security at Kotwali police station before being produced in court, which remanded him to jail.Police said over two dozen cases, including murder, extortion, assault and attempted murder, are registered against him in Haryana and Rajasthan. He is also accused in multiple murder cases.Investigators said Bhiwani’s name had surfaced in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, where he was allegedly among the shooters and also assisted in planning.He was wanted in a 2022 kidnapping and assault case registered at Jhunjhunu Kotwali police station. Police said he allegedly kidnapped Sandeep Dangi following a financial dispute linked to gangster Sampat Nehra, assaulted him and abandoned him near Loharu. One of his associates, Kapil Pandit, has already been arrested in the case.Security was heightened across Jhunjhunu during his custody. The police station was turned into a high-security zone, with additional forces and quick response teams deployed at key locations, including the hospital and court.After interrogation, Bhiwani underwent a medical examination at the Govt BDK Hospital and was produced in court under heavy security before being sent to jail in judicial custody.
