Jaipur: Manoviraj Shekhawat, Krish Yadav, Vinod Kumar Sharma and Gaurav Bhalla reigned supreme in the 8th edition of the monthly Kishan M Rungta Memorial Golf tournament held recently here at Rambagh Golf Club.Pushpendra Singh Rathore emerged as the winner with 38 points in the 0-9 handicap category, while Dr Devendra Kumar secured the runner-up position with 37 points.

In the 10-16 handicap category, Vinod Kumar triumphed. Priyanshu Modgil finished as the runner-up.Gaurav Bhalla and Anuj Loharia were declared winners in the 17-24 handicap section.In the pro gross winner category, Manoviraj Shekhawat was the champion and Giriraj Khadka placed second.

In the amateur gross category, Krish Yadav and Deep Karan Singh finished as first and second, respectively.In the other categories, Dr HS Bhasin won the best legend golfer, Satish Rajoria bagged the best senior golfer, and Eva Soni claimed the best lady golfer prizes.In the special categories, prizes were won by Gaurav Swami for nearest to the pin, Kunal Singh Jr for longest drive, Dr BM Ratu for veteran’s longest drive, Shiksha Jain for ladies longest drive, and Lakshyaraj Poonia for straightest drive.

Prizes were distributed by Mukund Rungta, elder son of Late KM Rungta, Vrinda Rungta, daughter-in-law, Piyush Rungta, son, Manish Agarwal, grandson, and Rambagh Golf Club captain Yogendra Singh. Executive committee members Himanshu Sharma, Sharad Agarwal, Sunil Shekhawat, and tournament committee members Dolly Shergill and Kunal Singh were present on the occasion.
