Imphal: The bodies of three civilians, who were killed in firing by security forces following violent protests in the wake of the Tronglaobi bomb attack on April 7, were on Friday taken from the RIMS mortuary in Imphal for their final rites. The three persons — identified as Laishram Jiten (51), Huidrom Maichel alias Henary (22), and Wahengbam Boby (29) — were among a large number of irate protesters, who stormed the CRPF post at Gelmol, after two children were killed and their mother was injured in the Tronglaobi explosion.Their bodies were kept at the RIMS morgue as family members, along with a Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the incident, demanded action from the Manipur govt.
